                   Our Seven Goals In Revival

1.) A revitalization of my spiritual life, our church and nation.

2 Chronicles 7 :14.  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  15.  Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Isaiah 1: 7.  And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.  8.  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 57: 15.  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

2.) A repentance from sin- secret sins- sins that wrap around our feet and trip us up.  a.) confession to others

b.) restitution where possible c.) granting forgiveness to others ... Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us... James 5:16 .  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  Luke 15:21.  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. Luke 19:1-10

3.) A restoration of my love and study for the Word! Psalms 119: 97.  O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

 98.  Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

 99.  I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

 100.  I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

 101.  I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

 102.  I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

 103.  How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

 104.  Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

 105.  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

2 Timothy 2: 15.  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

4.) A release of the Holy Spirit to empower me for service and give me a compassion for the lost. Ephesians 5:  18.  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19.  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord... 1 Peter 4: 10.  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11.  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ...Matthew 9:36.  But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them...

5.) A return to my first love., to love God and family more than ever before. Revelation 2:4.  Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Malachi 4:6.  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers...

6.) A remembrance and thanksgiving of all He has done for me. Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Ephesians 5:4 ... but rather giving of thanks... 20.  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Chris 1 Corinthians 15:57.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

7.) A reshaping of my praise and worship so that I truly worship God with my whole heart, body, life and actions. Psalms 95:6.  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Psalms 100   Romans 12:11.  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Matthew 5: 16.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

James 5: Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

Psalms 138: 7.  Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me...
