EIGHT STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER

1.) PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

     A.) John 16:23  And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24.  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

2.) DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT FROM GOD.

     A.) James 1:6  But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  7.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

 8.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

3.) READ SCRIPTURES THAT PROMISE WHAT YOU WANT/ NEED.

     A.) 2 Peter 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature

4.) ASK GOD FOR THE THINGS YOU WANT.

     A.) Matthew 7:7  "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.8.  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

5.) BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE.

     A.) Mark 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

     B.) Matthew 21:22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

6.) REFUSE TO DOUBT

     A.) Matthew 21:21  If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

     B.) James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, [doubt] and he will flee from you.

7.) MEDITATE ON THE PROMISES.

     A.) Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

8.) GIVE GOD THE PRAISE.

     A.) Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
