Matthew 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Matthew 15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way
Goal for effective message -What I want for the hearer of every message-
1. LEARN THE WORD (UNDERSTAND MORE OF GOD, and BE SET FREE FROM MANS RELIGION BY HEARING AND LEARNING THE TRUTH ( John 8:31,32) )
2. CHANGE IS MADE
3. MOTIVATED FOR THE GLORIFICATION OF GOD
Ac 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
My Process of preaching
This is the process people go through when they change attitudes, or thought processes:
ATTENTION, COMPREHENSION, ( YIELDING this work is done by the Holy Spirit nothing on our part other than invitation), RETENTION, and ACTION.
